AS A STUDENT, I WILL:

• Respect my school, classmates, staff, and family.
• Show respect for myself, my school, and everyone at school.
• Attend school regularly and arrive on time.
• Come to school each day prepared with supplies and ready to learn.
• Take responsibility for my behavior.
• Complete and return homework assignments to the best of my ability.
• Follow the school rules regarding student conduct and behavior

AS A PARENT/GUARDIAN OR FAMILY MEMBER, I WILL:

• Talk to my child regularly about the value of education.
• Monitor screen time and ensure my child reads every day.
• Ensure my child attends school every day, on time, and with homework completed.
• Support the school’s discipline and dress codes.
• Monitor my child’s progress in school.
• Make every effort to attend school events such as decision-making meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and virtual parent nights.
• Ensure my child gets adequate sleep, regular medical care, and proper nutrition.
• Participate in shared decision-making with school staff and other families for the benefit of students.
• Respect the school, staff, students, and other families.

AS A TEACHER, I WILL:

• Show respect for students and their families by modeling a positive attitude.
• Provide a high-quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables students to meet the State’s academic achievement standards by:
   
  • Delivering planned instructional lessons and meaningful homework assignments.
  • Expecting students to participate actively in the learning process.
  • Holding high expectations for each student.
     
• Participate in professional development opportunities that improve teaching and learning and support partnerships with families and the community.
• Enforce rules fairly and involve students in creating a warm and caring classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress.
