Registration will be Wednesday, July 30, from 8-10 in the gym lobby. Kids do not have to come back until their first full day on Monday, August 4th.
Dont forget to print off your supply list. Sales Tax holiday is Aug 1-3.
The staff at LMS work very hard to get a routine down for a quick and smooth arrival and dismissal. Please be patient during the first few days while everyone gets accustom to the routine.
8th Grade students and Parents. During Registration students will be taking their 8th Grade formal portraits for the annual. These are first come first serve.
We excited for a new year and look forward to seeing everyone at registration.
I pledge to be responsible in all areas, to always be ready, and at all times show respect to myself, each other, my teachers and my school.
LMS Parent/ Guardian of a rising 7th Grader:
Tennessee State Law says that ALL students entering 7th grade must have an updated Official Certificate of Immunizations (PH-4103) documenting that they have had a dose of tetanus-diptheria-pertussis ("Tdap") and Varicella booster vaccinations (the vaccine against chickenpox) if they have never had chickenpox. This certificate will need to be completed and signed by your child's health care provider administering the vaccinations. Exemptions are only allowed for religious or medical reasons. A sample of the certificate is included on the back of this letter.
To comply with state laws, we ask that you submit the completed certificate to the school nurse, Teresa Morris, on July 30, registration day. Students may be kept out of class if they do not meet the state requirements.
We urge you to take care of your child's immunization needs now; don't wait for the rush! The health and safety of your child is important to us! If you have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us. Learn more about the vaccine requirements online at http://health.state.tn.us/CEDS/required.htm orby contacting your healthcare provider or local health department.
