Reading is one of the most important activities that we can have. Our students have been taking AR tests to determine reading levels and to set individual goals for achievement. Please encourage your child to READ, READ, Read, to meet his/her individual goal! There is a FIELD TRIP to see a play in Jackson for students meeting their goals at the end of the 1st quarter!!
Any student who reads 20 books or more this year can be come a CELEBRITY!!! He/she will have their picture taken and placed on our Celebrity Wall of Readers. Teachers are also working toward this goal. We cannot wait to see how many outstanding celebrity readers we have among our walls. |
