First To The Top, Standards and Future Reporting

Tennessee is raising the bar for students in the classroom.

Higher academic standards will make students ready for a career or college. But higher standards also mean
harder tests — and maybe lower test scores and grades, in the near term.

If your child is struggling with higher standards, don't get discouraged. As a parent, it's time to
EXPECT MORE so your child can ACHIEVE MORE.

In an effort to keep our parents better informed about our state's current initiatives in education,
