Ginger StanfillI have been a special educator for 20 years with most of my career spent working with preschool age children with special needs. I taught at West Tennessee School for the Deaf for 11 years and at Caywood Elementary for 6 years. I had 4 years off in between to be a stay at home mommy. For the last 2 years, I have been the special education coordinator for LCSS. In May 2018, I had the honor of being named the Special Education Supervisor for our system.
I earned a B.S. in Special Education for the Hearing Impaired from Jacksonville State University in 1994. I later earned a M.S. in Education from The University of Memphis. I have been married to Frankie Stanfill for 21 years. We have 2 sons: Casey who is a Freshman at University of TN at Martin. And Keith who is a sophomore at Lexington High School.
I am excited about my new role. I have always had a passion for working with children with special needs. I believe all children should have the chance to live up to their potential, as well as be treated with love and respect.
