Thank you to Ms. Margaret Witt's Character Education classes for the beautiful cafeteria decorations entitled "Unity". Character Education is about life skills. In this class, students explore topics such as unity, diversity, and responsibility. The ultimate goal of character education is to help students discover their own unique talents.

Caywood Elementary students raised $9,342.42 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A special thanks to Mrs. Brenda Davis for her dedication to St. Jude and Caywood. Students worked very hard during the Math-a-thon to raise money. Second grade student, Anna Evans, won a video camera due to her fund-raising efforts.
